Development of Business Corridors
A study of international ICT markets done by the Visibility and Internationalization Working Group in 2013 identified the markets with the strongest growth potential.
By 2015, TechnoMontréal hopes to establish commercial agreements with the clusters in the five main targeted markets.
These business corridors allow our SMEs to create partnerships with complementary companies in cities of the targeted countries, in order to develop new markets. More specifically, the associated clusters would host commercial ICT missions from their partner cities and provide necessary tools so that each site can support the planning, realization and follow-up of these commercial missions. The agreements also encourage internships, to enable the implementation of joint projects. Finally, these business corridors facilitate the exchange of information on the profiles and interests of member companies, in order to encourage cooperative innovation in all areas of ICT application.
An initial agreement was signed in Spring 2013 with CANIETI Occidente, the ICT cluster of Guadalajara, Mexico.
